Pasta Workshop

We were thrilled to discover that we have a little bit of Italy right here on our doorstep in the shoes of Christina Cavallari, a warm and wonderful chef that has worked in many restaurants in Italy. Prior to that Christina schooled as a teenager in Sussex at a Cordon Bleu School, 'Sabine de Mirbeck' and completed her training in Paris. She has put together a delicious and fun lunchtime pasta workshop with excellent food, company and wine...........

"From the heart of the GASTRONOMY of Bologna to Sussex come and learn how to make traditional pasta. If like me and you are passionate about food, you will love what we are offering at Hawthbush Farm. I fulfilled my dream of owning my own restaurant in Bologna, Italy in the region of Emilia Romagna known as the 'cradle of good cooking'. Bologna is particularly famous for tortellini, tortelloni and tagliatelle which are delicious and simple to learn and adaptable to everyone's pallet.

Start the day with an aromatic Italian coffee where I will explain the recipes followed by 2hrs of teaching different pasta shapes where participants will be hands on! Groups can vary in numbers from 6 to10 people. You can choose to book an exclusive cooking school day with a group of friends or make a booking to join a scheduled cooking school day throughout the year. Once we have completed the lesson and you enjoy a glass of wine, let me cook some of the pasta made by you for lunch and I will package the rest to take home."

Food is my passion which I hope to share with you in a three and a half hour session at a cost of £65 per head.

Please contact Christina direct on 01323 721158 to reserve a place.
