At Hawthbush Farm, we offer a peaceful setting to gather with family and friends, share memories and celebrate the life of someone special. Set in the Sussex countryside, our farm provides a welcoming space to come together and remember your loved one in a way that feels right for you.

We have three areas where you can hold a service: the Grain Store, the Stretch Tent and, on warmer, fair-weather days, our Woodland Ceremony Area. We also have facilities to show a visual tribute, which we can create for you using treasured photographs and memories.

Celebration of Life Buffet — £22.50 per person

A generous buffet for family and friends to enjoy as they gather and share memories.

  • Sandwiches, sausage rolls, savoury pies, quiches and vegetable spring rolls.

  • Cheeses, cured meats, focaccia and crackers, with houmous, vegetables and chutney.

  • Mini tarts, millionaire shortbread, cupcakes and fresh fruit.

  • Tea and coffee.

Basic Afternoon tea - £16.50 Per person

  • Scones, cream, jam & cake

  • Sandwiches

Our bar will be open for guests to purchase additional drinks, including beers from our sister company, Gun Brewery.

Please let us know about any dietary requirements when booking. Venue hire is charged separately.

  • Our standard celebration of life package includes exclusive use of the venue for five hours, with an additional hour if you also hold your funeral service with us. Families are welcome to arrive one hour before the gathering begins to set up decorations and add any personal touches.
